A Toast to the Ti

Thursday, September 11, 2025
5:30–7:30 p.m.

$70 / ticket
Sunset aboard the Ticonderoga at
Shelburne Museum

Join us for a sunset toast to our beloved Ticonderoga! In 1955, the Ti made its triumphant journey to Shelburne Museum. In honor of this 70-year milestone we invite you—our Members and donors—to board the gangway for rare after-hours access, including:
  • Sparkling wine, non-alcoholic libations, and light bites
  • Knowledgable guides onboard to share history and stories
  • Insights on current restoration projects from Chip Stulen, Director of Preservation and resident Ti expert, who has led Ticonderoga preservation efforts for three decades
Our work to protect and provide access to this historic vessel is ever in motion, with preservation ongoing and an eye toward future needs. The $70 cost of your ticket plus any additional contributions will ensure that the Ticonderoga and the entire Museum will flourish for another 70 years and beyond.

Raise a glass to this National Historic Landmark and be there for the launch of our Ti anniversary weekend full of events including a Ti Haul Trail walk, listening party with Vermont Folklife, artmaking, Ti yoga, and more!

  • Space is limited! Reserve your tickets by Thursday, September 4
  • SOLD OUT: Rare Opportunity! Be the first to make a gift of $700 and you’ll receive a private tour of the Ticonderoga and have the distinct honor of blowing the ship’s whistle at the event (two event tickets included).
  • I love the Ti! I can’t make it, but want to support the Museum with a gift.

Saturday, June 7 | 4:00 – 5:00 p.m.
Pizzagalli Center for Art and Education

Shelburne Museum welcomes its Member community to a special evening with acclaimed ceramic artist Mara Superior for an illustrated panel discussion exploring her nearly five-decade career working in porcelain. She will be joined by Alice Cooney Frelinghuysen, the Anthony W. And Lulu C.
