Do you love to quilt, or are you interested in learning how? Are you looking to work with a community of young quilters to help hone your stitching skills?
Shelburne Museum is offering a six-week virtual quilt club via Zoom on Tuesdays in February and March. Participants will learn about quilts featured in our Pattern & Purpose online exhibition, pick up quilting tips and tricks, and create hand or machine quilted coasters. Participants will receive a pack of materials prior to the start of class. No formal experience is required other than the ability to thread a needle. You’ll also need a pair of sharp scissors, and Zoom capability.
When: Tuesdays, from 4-5:30 p.m. on the following dates:
Registration: Begins Monday, January 11 for Members. General registration opens Friday, January 15. Registration closes January 29, 2021.
Fee: $110 General Admission, $100 for Members. Includes a fabric pack, rotary cutting blade, self-healing mat, and ruler. Scholarships are available. Please contact Mollie Davis, mdavis@shelburnemuseum.org to learn more.
