Needlework Conservation in Action

Come see textile conservation on view at the Dana-Spencer Textile Galleries at Hat & Fragrance. Shelburne Museum conservators will be sharing how we prepare needlework for display and storage. You can watch conservators as they stitch needlework onto archival padded boards and ask questions about how we care for our textile collections. The conservation process will be on view 10-11:30 AM on July 6, 13, 20, and 27 within the exhibit On Point: Needlework from the Garthwaite Family Collection, just walk-in!
