Fox Hunting Demonstration

Follow the cry of the hounds and watch a Foxhunting demonstration with Green Mountain Hounds. Stick around after the demonstration to meet the animals and learn more about the sport of Foxhunting from the riders.

Free with museum admission. The event will be held in the field next to the concert green space.

*Note* Green Mountains Hounds does not practice hunting actual foxes. They are trained in traditional drag hunting, which involves packs of hounds that hunt a scent at impressive speeds and length, that has been laid or dragged over a course with a beginning and end. Green Mountain Hounds will be bringing scented rags for the hounds to follow for the purposes of this demonstration.
