The Holiday Auction Extravaganza offers over 100 giftable items ranging from one-of-a-kind experiences on the Museum grounds, unique made-in-Vermont products, and favorites from the Museum Store.

The auction supports Shelburne Museum’s 2023-2024 Annual Fund, which directly funds the Museum’s efforts to provide collections stewardship, deliver educational programming, mount world-class exhibitions, and foster engagement within the community.
How do I place a bid?
All bidders must register on the auction website, which will be linked on this webpage in advance of the auction start time. You will need to confirm your email to start bidding. Once confirmed, let the bidding begin! Each item has a minimum bid and a required bid increment.
What is the “buy-it-now” price?
Bidders have the option to purchase some auction items immediately for a slightly increased price than the item value.
I live nearby, can I pick up my item at Shelburne Museum?
Yes. Winners may pick up their items at Shelburne Museum. Please arrange a pickup time with the Development Office by emailing members@shelburnemuseum.org or calling 802-985-0923.
May I have my item shipped to me?
Yes. Upon winning your auction item, you may have it shipped to you or the recipient of your purchase.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping cost varies based on the item. Payment for shipping is required for most auction items. The item listing will state whether it is required. Shipping must be paid in a separate transaction by calling 802-985-0923. We cannot ship items until shipping costs are paid. If you wish to receive an estimate of the shipping charges for a specific item, please email members@shelburnemuseum.org.
I purchased more than one item. Can I have them shipped together?
Yes. Items can be bundled together for shipment. Shipping must be paid in a separate transaction by calling 802-985-0923. We cannot ship items until shipping costs are paid. If you wish to receive an estimate of the shipping charges for a specific item, please email members@shelburnemuseum.org.
