2017 Auto Festival Family Activities 

Saturday, June 17th, 11:00 a.m. -3:00 p.m. – Webby’s Art Studio: Create your own Auto Show souvenir keychain at Pizzagalli Center Classroom.

Saturday, June 17th & Sunday June 18th, 11:00 a.m. -3:00 p.m. – Transportation Scavenger Hunt: All things transportation! Come explore the Shelburne Museum as you search for classic cars, trains, boats, and wagons. Pick up at Pizzagalli Center Classroom on Saturday; Sunday at the Museum store.

Saturday, June 17th, 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – Make It, Race It, Break It: Learn about velocity and drag as you design and race Lego vehicles at the Shelburne Museum raceway. Behind Pizzagalli Center.

Friday, June 16

11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. – Film: Horatio’s Drive: America’s First Road TripWatch the story of Burlington native Horatio Jackson taking the first cross country automobile journey in 1903. Located in the Pizzagalli Center for Art and Education (PCAE) Auditorium.

1 – 2:30 p.m. – Lecture by Pierce Reid: The Transition from Carriage Design to Automobile DesignIn the Horseshoe Barn.

Saturday, June 17

11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. – Film: Horatio’s Drive: America’s First Road Trip. Watch the story of Burlington native Horatio Jackson taking the first cross country automobile journey in 1903. Located in the Pizzagalli Center for Art and Education (PCAE) Auditorium.

11:30 a.m. – Bill Erskine Sears Car Assembly. Watch as a Mail Order Car in a crate delivered to the Railroad Train Station Complex.

Sunday, June 18

11:30 a.m. – Fashion Show in the Pizzagalli Center for Art and Education (PCAE).

 

2017 Auto Festival Food Vendors:

Served All Three Days: 

  • Café: The Local Food Court curated by The Skinny Pancake.  Open from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • The Scoop Hand crafted local ice cream served from a Red Falcon and ’54 International converted ice cream truck. Located in two locations: Zone 2: Lighthouse, and Zone 8: Circus Complex

Food Served Saturday only:

  • Taco Gordo 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Zone 3: Settlers House and Barn
  • Unbound Kitchen 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Zone 1

 

Auto Festival ends at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 18. The Museum grounds will be open to enjoy from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.
