Please join Chief Curator and Francie and John Downing Curator of American Art Kory Rogers as he discusses the myriad ways in which animal forms have been adapted to create a wide range of beautiful and functional household objects. By focusing on designs ranging in date from Ancient Egypt to the present day, Kory will delve into complex themes related to animal/human bonds, including domestication, emotional connections, and ethical treatment.
