Join us for an informative, entertaining hour of cocktails and conversation with the Curators
at Shelburne Museum—just for Members!
Join Chief Curator and Francie and John Downing Curator of American Art Kory Rogers
as he explores the form and function of 19th-century sleigh design, using important
vehicles from Shelburne Museum’s transportation collection. Kory will also examine
sleighing as a popular seasonal pastime that inspired the development of an entire
musical genre dedicated to the activity.
