Shelburne Museum Celebrates Halloween with Haunted Happenings on Sunday, October 26

SHELBURNE, Vt. (October 1, 2025)—Get ready for Halloween fun at Shelburne Museum’s Haunted Happenings. On Sunday, October 26, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., families are invited to a festive fall frolic packed with Halloween treats, creative activities, and outdoor fun. Costumes are encouraged—so bring your little goblins, ghosts, and superheroes for some Halloween fun.  

Visitors of all ages can enjoy a variety of activities, including:

  • Trick-or-Treating throughout the Museum grounds
  • Artmaking Activities: Create Halloween and seasonal-themed projects
  • Facepainting for festive fun
  • Lawn Games and Outdoor Activities with a Halloween twist
  • Build Your Own Fairy Houses and Gnome Huts in Beach Woods

Admission is $5, and children under 3 are free. Shelburne Museum members receive free admission and priority entrance to Haunted Happenings.

In the spirit of giving, visitors are also encouraged to support the community by bringing nonperishable items for a food drive to benefit the Shelburne Food Shelf.

Please note: After Haunted Happenings events end at 1 p.m., the museum will remain open until 5 p.m., including all buildings and exhibitions. To mark the end of the 2025 public season, admission will remain $5 per person for the rest of the day.
