Cancellation Advisory: Winter Lights at Shelburne Museum Cancelled on 12-29

SHELBURNE, Vt. (December 29, 2025)—Due to extreme weather forecast for today, Shelburne Museum’s Winter Lights will be closed on Monday, December 29, 2025.

Ticketholders can use their tickets on any other walk-through evening during the season, which runs through January 4. There is no need to rebook or renew a reservation.

Now in its fifth season, Winter Lights illuminates the dark days of winter with magic and wonder. Visitors stroll the museum’s grounds, where iconic landmarks are transformed into a glittering wonderland. Thousands of colorful lights will adorn favorite stops along the way, including the historic 220-foot steamboat Ticonderoga, its companion 1871 Lighthouse, the twinkling forest of Beach Woods, and a charming model train installation in the Diamond Barn.

On select Saturday evenings, visitors can enjoy watching local performers animate the Museum’s grounds, including the whimsical giant puppets and mesmerizing flow artists.
