Join us for a special viewing of the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024! The Museum grounds will be open along with a limited number of buildings including the Electra Havemeyer Webb Memorial Building (Impressionist art on view), the Round Barn, and the Weathervane Café. The Carousel will also be running. Depending on weather conditions additional buildings may be open to visitors.

Get a group of friends together. Grab a lawn chair. Enjoy this awesome solar wonder from the unique vantage point of Shelburne Museum, which is in the path of totality, near Burlington, Vermont. Your ticket includes special viewing glasses.

Limited number of tickets sold! Tickets are non-refundable. 

Tickets are $25 for adults; $23 for Museum Members; $15 for children 3 to 17 and college students with ID; and free for children under three. 

Parking is free and reserved for ticket holders. You must have an event ticket to park.

The grounds open at 10 a.m. and close at 5 p.m.

For an extra-special experience, you’re invited to Totality on the Ti! – SOLD OUT
These premium tickets are $150, or $125 for Museum Members, and benefit the 1871 Colchester Lighthouse. This event includes entry to the Museum Grounds with parking, lunch and bar in the Pizzagalli Center, a souvenir booklet, viewing glasses, and exclusive access to the decks of the National Historic Landmark steamboat Ticonderoga for eclipse viewing.

P.S. The next chance to view a total solar eclipse in the contiguous United States is August 23, 2044!
