Volunteering at Shelburne Museum is an amazing opportunity to learn new skills, join a diverse community of over 200 volunteers, and support the Museum. Volunteers have a tremendous impact on the Museum and we rely on our volunteers’ wide range of skills, friendly faces, and can-do attitudes.
We offer volunteer opportunities for many age groups and interests, including gardening, carpentry, greeting visitors, textile demonstrations, special event days, and much more. We also offer opportunities for corporate group volunteering as well as large school groups.
We strive to find a volunteer opportunity that fits your schedules and interests. Schedules are flexible year-round with May through October our busiest season. As a volunteer, you also will receive valuable benefits including free admission to the Museum with a volunteer badge, invitations to an annual recognition event, and more.
