You’ve found it: the perfect place to host your event. We can say so confidently because Shelburne Museum isn’t just one place, it’s many places—and one of them will be just right for you. From the state-of-the-art Pizzagalli Center for Art and Education to the elegant Brick House, rustic Round Barn, steamboat Ticonderoga, and beautiful grounds and gardens, we offer unique settings for your corporate retreat, wedding, holiday party, or meeting. Shelburne Museum has everything an event planner is looking for: a wide range of Vermont-themed venues, dedicated and professional staff, free and ample parking, and proximity to the city of Burlington, with its airport and lodging.

  • PCAE lobbies are open to the public during regular Museum hours. The lobbies are available for private rentals after closing.
  • Rental fee does not include food and beverage services. Weddings may choose from a list of preferred caterers.
  • Rental includes chairs, podium, ten banquet tables, and twelve round tables. Additional items may be rented through Vermont Tent Company exclusively.

  • Rental fee includes outdoor access with limited use of the house. Food and drinks are not allowed indoors for wedding and reception rentals.
  • Rental fee does not include food and beverage services. Weddings may choose from a list of preferred caterers. Restroom trailer rental required. A handicapped-accessible restroom is available inside the house.
  • All tables, chairs, linens, dinnerware, and tents must be rented from Vermont Tent Company exclusively.

Let nature surround you! Say “I do” in our gorgeous, formal Bostwick Garden or choose another from among our twenty gardens—all are perfect for an intimate event.

  • Standing: Up to 120, depending on site
  • Standing room for up to 500 on Circus Lawn, adjacent to Circus Building Daylily Garden

  • The formal Bostwick Garden offers outdoor seating for as many as eighty guests, or standing room for 120
  • Bostwick Garden is ideal for outdoor weddings as well as performances, talks, or other ceremonies
  • The Circus Lawn, with its exuberant Daylily Garden and nearby carousel, can accommodate up to 500
  • Additional gardens available for events under twenty-five guests
