Wyeth Vertigo examines extreme perspectives, unconventional angles and powerful narratives in 36 works by N.C., Andrew, and Jamie Wyeth, three generations of one of the most influential families in modern American art. The exhibition is organized around Shelburne Museum’s well-known painting Soaring and preparatory drawings from the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
The project is co-curated by Shelburne Museum Director Thomas Denenberg and Joyce Hill Stoner, the Edward F. and Elizabeth Goodman Rosenberg Professor of Material Culture at the University of Delaware.
Webb Gallery, June 22-October 31, 2013.
