Supercool Glass is a new exhibition that highlights aesthetic and technological trends in American glassmaking over two centuries.
Objects from Shelburne Museum’s collections including food vessels, architectural glass, medical instruments, witch balls and paintings, are juxtaposed with works by contemporary glass artists.
Contemporary artists include, Ethan Bond Watts, Gary Bodker, Alyssa Oxley, Stefanie Pender, Mark Reigelman II, Suzanne Peck, Charlotte Potter, Eric Franklin, Monique LaJeunesse, Madeline Steimle, Bohyun Yoon, Steven and William Ladd, Andy Paiko, Amber Cowan, and Kim Harty.
On view in the Pizzagalli Center for Art and Education, February 8-June 8.
