Free First Friday Eves Return to Shelburne Museum
SHELBURNE, Vt. (June 1, 2022)— Celebrate the summer season with Free First Friday Eve events at Shelburne Museum. The season kicks off on Friday, June 10* with an evening of live music, lawn games, food trucks, and special exhibitions. The entire museum campus will be open and FREE to all from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Check out our collections buildings, play lawn games, and enjoy delicious food from local vendors including Green Mtn Grillbillies BBQ and Catering, Taco Truck All-Stars, Sisters of Anarchy Ice Cream, and Shelburne Museum’s Weathervane Café. Explore the exhibition Eyesight & Insight: Lens on American Art and visit the EnChroma Glasses exploration station to see the world in color!
Beginning at 6 p.m. – Live music from Beg, Steal or Borrow
Dance along to the sweet bluegrass harmonies and spirited instrumentals of Beg, Steal or Borrow, Vermont’s original “Old and in the Way” quintet. Located at the Weathervane Café patio.

Check out our collections buildings, play lawn games, and enjoy delicious food from local vendors including Lake Champlain Chocolates Ice Cream, Open Hearth Pizza, Southern Smoke Foods, Taco Truck All-Stars and Shelburne Museum’s Weathervane Café, with flowing taps brought to you by Red Clover Events.
5 p.m. to 6 p.m. – Walking tour with artist Nancy Winship Milliken
Explore the outdoor sculpture exhibition Varied and Alive: Nancy Winship Milliken with the artist herself!
Beginning at 6 p.m. – Live music from Ray Vega Latin Jazz Sextet
The Ray Vega Latin Jazz Sextet will present a program of jazz with fiery Latin and funk overtones! Located at the Weathervane Café patio.

5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Birding the Museum
Designed in partnership with Bird Diva Bridget Butler, experience a self-guided tour program to learn about bird characteristics and explore bird-themed artworks at the museum. Meet the Bird Diva in person, ask questions, and join for a slow birding activity!
Beginning at 6 p.m. – Live music from Brickdrop
Groove to live music from the energetic and funky jazz fusion collective, Brickdrop. Located at the Weathervane Café patio.
