Shelburne Museum Announces Hiring of Chief Financial Officer

SHELBURNE, Vt.(Jan. 16, 2013) Shelburne Museum Director Thomas Denenberg announced Andrea Bergeron as Chief Financial Officer for the museum.

Prior to taking her new post, Bergeron served as vice president of finance and administration and chief financial officer at Vermont Public Television, in Colchester, Vt. where she was employed for 14 years.

“Andrea’s background in non-profit finance and administration coupled with her enthusiasm and deep local knowledge for the arts make her an outstanding fit for Shelburne. In addition to Andrea’s financial expertise, she brings tremendous energy at a pivotal moment as we prepare to transition to year-round operation with the opening of the Center for Art and Education, ”Denenberg said.

Bergeron is a member of the National Educational Telecommunications Association Management Resource Council and the Society for Human Resource Management. She is a graduate of Saint Michael’s College in Colchester, Vt. and holds a B.S. in both accounting and business administration.
