Create a Puzzle
June 16-20, June 30-July 4, July 14-18, July 28-Aug. 1
When looking at an Impressionist painting up close, the subject may not be clear. Sometimes it is necessary to take a step back to see the completed picture. Impressionist paintings are like puzzles. One needs a lot of pieces to understand the entire picture. Create your own puzzle inspired by the Impressionist paintings at Shelburne Museum.
En Plein Air
June 23-27, July 7-11, July 21-25, Aug. 4-8
Most Impressionists chose to paint en plein air, or outdoors, instead of, or in addition to, painting in their studios. Using chalk pastels, create an “En Plein Air” painting inspired by the Shelburne Museum landscape.
June 16-20, June 30-July 4
Decorate a box in the style of the Impressionists
Play Impressionist Memory with our Summer Assistants.
