Shelburne Museum offers public programming even when the Museum grounds are closed. Off-season programs offer participants a chance to acquaint themselves with topics related to upcoming exhibitions.
Robotics and Humanity: Conversations on Technology, Spirit and Art
What does technology teach us about humanity? Join the conversation with Fran Stoddard and professionals investigating robotics, artificial intelligence, creativity, and social interaction. Stoddard, host of Vermont Public Television’s popular Profile program, moderates a three-part series exploring these compelling issues.
Shelburne Museum, All Souls Interfaith Gathering, and Shelburne Farms are pleased to partner to bring this exciting roster of speakers to Shelburne, in advance of the Museum’s exhibition Time Machines: Robots, Rockets, and Steampunk opening in June 2012.
The Robotics and Humanity series takes place at All Souls Interfaith Gathering in Shelburne on March 14, 21, and 28. Each conversation begins at 4 p.m. with a casual reception to follow. The series is free and open to the public. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
