Alzheimer’s: Forgetting Piece by Piece

Alzheimer’s: Forgetting Piece by Piece is a powerful tribute to victims of Alzheimer’s expressed through textile art. Organized by the national non-profit Alzheimer’s Art Quilt Initiative, the exhibit includes 52 quilts, each an artistic expression of the complex emotions experienced by those in some way touched by the disease.
The exhibit includes interactive listening stations where visitors hear memories of elders produced by Vermont Public Radio with interviews recorded by StoryCorps, a national initiative to record and collect stories of everyday Americans.

Circus Day in America celebrates the golden age of the American circus, circa 1870-1950, when the circus coming to town was one of the most dramatic, exciting and large-scale forms of entertainment. The exhibit includes film, music, photographs, circus posters and artifacts that evoke the pageantry and wonder of the circus.
